Burning soldier

Few things get me angrier than seeing the people of this country take their freedoms for granted. Somewhere along the line, this people have forgotten that freedom is not free.

This last weekend, There was a "peace protest" in portland oragon which feachtured the protesters buring an efigy of soldier.





Now if that isn't enough to raise my blood pressure, That bastion of defeatism dailyKos runs a story on it in which they all try and shift responsibility off themselves. read these comments:

the perpatrator was some right-winger who had someone post the pictures to all the right-wing sites. I suspect a setup.-metal prophet

This response was latter disputed when someone pointed out to him that the pictures orginally appared on a left wing blog stating that this was the right way to go about protesting.

I interpreted it as a protest against soldiers' deaths.-Agathena

What seems strange to me is that IF this burning took place. Why is there nothing in the local media. As an Oregonian I find it hard to believe that IF such a thing actually happened that the local media would totaly ignore it. So my opinion is that untill it can be proved otherwise that this effigy burning is nothing but a bunch of rightwing BULLSHIT.
